Georgie And The Tonics is a cover band based in Adelaide, SA.
Motown, Stax and Atlantic soul is the whole repertoire for Georgie And The Tonics, and you choose how big the band is. The full big band is ten players, with a horn section of four or five to do those arrangements properly. For something lighter, the G&Ts Small Band runs from two to five, on piano, bass, guitar, a pared-back drum kit and vocals, which sits nicely in a pub or wine bar on a slow Sunday. Lead singer Georgie Bannard has appeared on The X Factor. The Adelaide band plays pubs, clubs, parties, corporate events and festivals, and musical theatre is another love, with several stage productions on the band's record.
