George Hodges Music

Most of what George Hodges plays on the night is his own, and he has more than two hours of original songs to draw on. They're melodic and easy to warm to, written around reflective themes, some soulful and some upbeat, the sort that has people tapping a foot before they know the words. He plays a small guitar with a bigger sound than you'd expect, and slips in his own takes on familiar songs such as Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic, a few Ed Sheeran hits, Fly Me to the Moon and Free Fallin'. Give him some notice and he'll learn a request. The PA is his, so you only have to find a power point and enough floor for one man, his mic and a guitar. He's based in Windsor, Queensland, and travels up to 100 km.
