George Halkias

How can a business put real support behind a community project? It's one of the questions George Halkias takes on at conferences, alongside leadership and social issues. He's trained in psychology and has worked in both government and community organisations, and the 2008 Homeless World Cup in Melbourne is among the projects he's been part of. He draws his examples from programs he's helped coordinate: who was involved and what had to be decided. He's also an MC, so he can host a conference program as well as speak in it. He's based in Melbourne.
