George

George is a Sydney rock 'n' roll DJ who also teaches the dance, so your guests don't just hear the classics, they can learn to move to them. He started out DJing in the eastern suburbs in 1976, played Kings Cross clubs such as Idas Disco through the late 70s and 80s, and at one point ran rock 'n' roll dance classes at five locations across Sydney. He's also a compere and announcer. His credits include compering at the Parkes Elvis Festival, DJing the Red Cross Baby Boomers Ball and Chromefest from 2013 to 2016, shows at the Seymour Centre and the Footbridge Theatre, rock 'n' roll cruises, and radio work on WSFM's Wednesday Night Juke Box and Coast FM's Rock N Roll Dance Party. It suits a 50s themed night or a dance crowd that knows the steps.
