Gavin McDiven

Twenty-five years of playing only in the bedroom came to an end the night Gavin McDiven finally stepped up at a local open mic. What followed was a sprint. Over the next 12 months Gavin played well over 100 open mics, and sheer determination turned that run into a working solo act. The set list is drawn from folk rock and acoustic grunge classics, all-time favourites every one, so there's real conviction behind the strumming. One voice and one guitar fits easily into a bar or a birthday party. Based in Armadale, WA, and happy to travel Australia-wide.
