G-Swift

Drum and bass and hip hop are the home turf for G-Swift, a DJ, producer and MC who's been at it since 1996. The crates go further, though, and disco, funk and boogie can all turn up in a set. Most of that time has been spent in Adelaide, on stages from underground clubs to the city's major venues, including a long drum and bass residency at Revolver. There have been interstate tours as well, and a run of MC work alongside international drum and bass artists. Original tracks have been played on BBC One, 1Xtra and RinseFM. The MC side is handy for a party that wants someone on the mic keeping the crowd lifted as well as the music.
