A duo for the ceremony, a ten-piece for the reception: FX can be sized to fit either end of that range and most points in between. Georgie and Michael Manikus lead the Brisbane band, Georgie singing with a soulful voice and Michael on keyboards, and their rapport on stage sets the tone for everyone else. The music runs from the 1950s to now, taking in pop, rock, jazz and blues. FX also offer a DJ service, so the music keeps going between sets and after the band finishes. Weddings are a large share of their Queensland work, along with company nights and private functions.
