Frankie & Savva

A 12-string guitar, slide guitar and a smoky, sassy voice: Frankie & Savva play acoustic blues with swagger. Their own songs lean toward old-school swing and boogie, and the covers dig into Muddy Waters, Nina Simone, Albert King, Jimmy Reed, Ruth Brown and T-Bone Walker. In 2022 they won the duo section of the ARBA Memphis Blues Challenge, then played Beale Street in Memphis the following January, at Blues City Cafe and King Jerry's. They've supported Walter Trout and Bondi Cigars and have two albums, Three Kings & Elvis and Going Down to Memphis. Sets run 45 minutes, and they bring their own PA, microphones and seating. The Adelaide duo travels statewide.
