Weddings are where Frances Rose does her best work, and she'll do more than play. Ask and she'll learn a couple of songs that matter to you. She'll also look after the music later in the evening, shaped around what you like, with requests welcome in advance or on the night, and make announcements so the day runs smoothly. The music has an indie-folk and country-blues feel, applied to well-loved songs and a few forgotten ones. She has been performing around the country for almost fifteen years, mostly solo, though duo and trio line-ups are available. Set-up is simple: power to plug into, plus shade or shelter.
