Folklore Murder Mystery Events

Everyone takes a seat in a circle, gets a character card, and finds out whether they're playing for good or for evil. That's how a Folklore game begins. The Perth company runs player-driven murder mysteries instead of scripted ones, so the result comes down to how people talk, bluff and work each other out. Roles are dealt at random, which means no two games play the same. There are two games to choose from: Monster Hunt, set among medieval villagers tracking a monster, and Hollywood Masquerade, a glamorous party with danger among the guests. Each takes 10 to 15 players. A single game runs 90 minutes, and a three-hour session fits in two rounds. Bigger groups get parallel games with extra storytellers. Workplaces book it for team building and communication training. Setup takes around 15 minutes and needs only a chair for each player. Public liability cover is in place, and they'll travel 50 km from Perth.
