Fallow Fields
About
Fallow Fields is a cover band based in Melbourne, VIC.
Fallow Fields make music for listening. The alt-country group is led by Danna and Rachel Simmons, a husband and wife who write the songs together, and their two-part harmonies carry the sound. Those harmonies come from twenty years of making music side by side, and they have an old-fashioned warmth. The songs deal honestly with love and life, the good days and the hard ones. Rocky Head Road, their first album, entered the ARIA charts at 15 overall and reached 2 on the Australian country chart. Home is the Dandenong Ranges outside Melbourne. It's the kind of act for a seated show, a winery afternoon or a wedding where people want to hear every word.
