Fabulous Lemon Drops

Kids at a Fabulous Lemon Drops show don't sit still for long. They're asked to jump like a frog, move like an emu and freeze like a statue, and percussion instruments get handed out so they can play along. The Brisbane band has been playing for families since 2007, and every song is an original pop-rock tune, with titles like Dinosaur Boogie, I Love Reading, The Freeze and Take Care of the Planet. Smaller parties can have the duo. Bigger ones can go for the full band, where three costumed mascots join in: Ted the Bear, Flutter the Butterfly and Flip the Frog. At Christmas, a dancing Christmas Tree can join in. Roving, balloon twisting and creative workshops are optional extras. Allow a space about 5 metres by 4. They have battery-powered PA options for spots without power, travel nationwide, carry public liability insurance and hold Blue Cards.
