Esi

Esi is a Sydney R&B artist, Ghanaian-Australian, whose music grew out of soul and the church choir she sang in. She used to perform as Mawuli. On stage she brings music, fashion and dance together, and women's empowerment runs through her work. Vice picked her for its Artist Spotlight and called her presence on stage "boisterous and free". She has shared stages with Victony, Yawdoesitall, Mike Champion, Boom Child and Mike Akox, and has worked with brands including Nike, JD Sports, Converse and the ARIAs. Through the Black Music Alliance, she has also done a masterclass led by Vivian Sessoms. Her single BEGGING is out now, with an EP on the way. She suits a launch, a brand event or a night built around new R&B.
