House music with soul is where EMMA lives, the deep and warm end of the dance floor rather than the big-room stuff. The DJ career stretches back more than 20 years, beginning as a resident at Chibuku in Liverpool during the 2000s, with sets at Fabric and The Warehouse Project and regular slots at festivals in Croatia. Since moving to Sydney in 2022, EMMA has played Club 77, Lucky Cat, Hemmesphere and Cafe del Mar. It isn't all peak-time either. Early in a night, the set can sit at 80 to 100 bpm with disco, boogie and modern soul, which makes it a good way to open a party or a late dinner that will turn into dancing.
