Emily Jane

Fire is the headline for Emily Jane. Her fire show is three 10-minute burns, each with a different prop such as the fire dragon staff, fire fans or rope dart, and she brings her own safety gear and a safety person. Daytime events suit her silk fans, LED props and pole work, and she also performs on lyra and with hand balancing. The pole spot is a 15-minute set, fire and pole can be combined, and after each show she mingles in costume. Fire needs a flat outdoor area of at least 2 by 2 metres with no overhanging branches, and it depends on the weather on the day. The pole needs the same floor space and a 3-metre ceiling. For 18+ events only, there's burlesque and a more sensual version of the shows. Melbourne-based, she's insured and travels nationwide.
