Elton John Tribute Show - Beyond The Yellow Brick Road is a tribute show based in Brisbane, QLD.
Beyond The Yellow Brick Road is Kim Hoffmann's Elton John tribute, and the scale is up to you. Kim can play it alone at the piano or keyboard with backing tracks, front a seven-piece band, or go all out with a 32-piece symphony orchestra. Costumes are recreations of outfits Elton actually wore, and the bigger shows add visual projection and a light show. The songs cover the big ones and some deeper cuts: Rocket Man, Levon, Tiny Dancer, Nikita, Honky Cat, Bennie and the Jets, Daniel, Sad Songs, I Guess That's Why They Call It the Blues and the Funeral for a Friend and Love Lies Bleeding medley. All you need is a stage with power, and they handle the rest. Kim and the band have played Europe, Asia and the USA over more than two decades. Brisbane-based, travelling nationwide, with full public liability insurance and Actors Equity membership.
