Electric Ginger

Falsetto hooks, 80s synths and a guitar underneath: Electric Ginger is disco-pop built for the dance floor, with a sense of humour to go with it. Behind the persona is Greg Townley, a singer, songwriter and producer who writes, records and produces from a farm studio and plays much of the music himself. On stage it gets theatrical, and the whole point is to lift the mood and get people moving. A self-titled debut came out in 2019, and the second album is called It's A Yes From Me. MTV gave rotation to his Use Me clip. Collaborators include Jonny Sonic from The Potbelleez. Festival slots include Distilled, SurfLife and Fairgrounds, and Greg's songwriting has featured on Bondi Rescue.
