El Fuentes

Crate-digging sits at the heart of El Fuentes, a Fitzroy DJ and self-described music nerd with over a decade of digging behind the name. The foundations are hip hop, and from there the selections branch out through soul, funk, house and boogie, with plenty in the gaps between. Away from the decks, El Fuentes works part time at Northside Records, selling soul and every other style that moves people. Expect a set that rewards listeners who know their records and still keeps a floor moving.
