Gala dinners and fundraisers need a host who can think on their feet, and improvisation is where Ed Kavalee comes from. His television comedy credits take in TV Burp, Thank God You're Here and Santo, Sam and Ed's Cup Fever, and Have You Been Paying Attention? has had him on as well. Off screen, he's been the host at awards nights, and he's done a live interview with David Walliams. It's a useful mix in an MC: comfortable with a script, and just as comfortable without one. He's based in NSW.
