Dylan Raath

One man, an acoustic guitar and a loop pedal that lets him stack his own harmonies. That's Dylan Raath, a Wodonga singer who reaches for the ukulele or harmonica every so often too. He carries up to four hours of songs, soft enough for the early part of a night and loud enough for the dance floor later, with Tones and I, Mumford & Sons, Paul Kelly, The Beatles, George Ezra, Foo Fighters and Bon Jovi on the list. Ask for a request and he'll have a go if he knows it, and he'll learn a few special ones for you. He brings all his own gear, arrives half an hour to an hour ahead to get set, and needs power plus about 3 by 2 metres. Sports club functions are familiar territory, Carlton's in particular, though he'll play Richmond's too. Insured, and he travels up to 500 km.
