Duplicity

Sue Kidd sings with a powerhouse voice, and Brendan Canty plays a handful of instruments around her. As Duplicity, the Melbourne pair mix well-known covers with their own songs across rock, pop, blues, folk, country and reggae. They've been together since 2017 and play Melbourne venues regularly. Festival crowds know them too. They've headlined the Launceston Ukulele Jamboree, Girgarre Moosic Muster, the Blue Mountains Ukulele Festival, the Melbourne Ukulele Festival, Penola-Coonawarra Acoustic Music Gathering and the 4 String Festival in New Zealand and Australia. On top of the usual gigs they play ukulele as a pair and teach workshops on it, an unusual option for a corporate team building session where everyone gets hands-on. Supports include The Screamin' Eagles, Hannah Schmidli and Lucy Wise. Both members hold Victorian Working With Children Checks, the duo is public liability insured, and travel covers up to 50 km.
