Duopology is a musical duo based in Brisbane, QLD.
Alex Herbert and Greg Marsh run two kinds of night as Duopology. For the dinner crowd it's easy listening that stays under the conversation: Van Morrison, James Taylor, Bryan Ferry, Stevie Wonder, George Benson, Lionel Richie, Gerry Rafferty and Michael Bublé. When it's time to dance, they switch to 50s to 90s party hits from Status Quo, The Proclaimers, The Commitments, Billy Joel, Bob Seger, Queen, Robert Palmer, the Stray Cats and Elvis. Alex is the lead singer, on guitar and congas as well. Greg plays lead guitar and sings too, and the backing sequences are his own work, shaped by years as a music and video producer. That's how two people fill out the sound. Scotland's pubs, clubs and function rooms kept Alex busy for years before he moved to Australia, and both have played in bands here and in Europe. They're based in Brisbane.
