Duck And Cover Band is a cover band based in Sydney, NSW.
Start with easy-listening jazz while everyone eats, then clear the floor for dance sets later on. That's one way Duck and Cover can run your night, and they'll tailor the sets to whatever your event needs. The Sydney five-piece plays funk, disco, R&B and soul classics, retro party songs and the big pop and rock hits. Every member is a graduate, either of the Australian Institute of Music or the Conservatorium. Sound and lighting come with them, professional gear with its own operator, so the levels stay right for the room. They're at ease with a big crowd or a small one, and parties and corporate events are both regular work. You may have seen them on ABC TV's Australian Story, and when the new NSW suburb of Ropes Crossing held its public opening, they were the band.
