Doris Day Tribute Show is a tribute band based in Brisbane, QLD.
Que Sera Sera, Tea for Two, By the Light of the Silvery Moon and Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps all feature in this Brisbane tribute to Doris Day. Her songs from film, stage, record and the bandstand are woven together with stories and images, backed by a swinging band. You pick the size. A singer with a pianist does a 70-minute show. A four-piece band plays either two sets of 45 to 50 minutes or one 70-minute show, and a six-piece plays two sets of that length. For a grand occasion, the line-up goes all the way up to a sixteen-piece big band. Expect toe-tapping and plenty of singing along from anyone who knows her films.
