Don's Party

Four of Don's Party first played together in R.D.O., a Melbourne band from the 80s. More than 35 years later, Rick Fowler, John Hutton, Mark Webb and Don Hailes got back together, and two lead vocalists came on board to round out the six-piece, Gabrielle Parbo and multi-instrumentalist Craig Smith. Expect big harmonies over 70s and 80s rock, anthems everybody knows and songs chosen for the dance floor, delivered in what the band calls Bums Off Seats sessions. The production comes with them, a professional PA, lighting and sound management included, and the band is fully insured. They're as comfortable at a festival or an outdoor event as in a pub, a club, a wedding reception or a corporate night, and they'll travel Australia-wide from Frankston. Their motto is about dancing, singing and a busy bar, in that order.
