Donné Restom

Donné Restom sings blues and R&B with a big, raw voice in the Etta James tradition, and she'll bring it to your event as a duo or fronting a big band. Modern influences run through those classic roots, so it never sounds like a museum piece. Born in South Africa, she has worked as a multidisciplinary artist for two decades. Three of those years were spent in the USA under the name Kitt Clement, touring internationally with the LA circus company Lucent Dossier Experience. Back in Australia she wrote and performed an award-nominated stage show, founded the storytelling night Kink in the Tale, and released her album Anatomy of Heart. Across her career she has put out three albums and two EPs and picked up songwriting credits on many Australian releases. She's based on the Central Coast.
