Velvet Jones sings and DJs, so a set can move from a mix straight into a live vocal over the top. Behind that is more than 25 years of singing and 14 of DJing and MCing, with disco, R&B, pop, dance-pop and pop rock all in the crate. For weddings the music is planned for each stage of the day, ceremony included, right up to the final song, and corporate bookings take in launches, awards nights and functions. Birthdays, engagements and house parties are on the list too, and event photography is offered as an extra. All the equipment comes with the booking, and it just has to be set up under cover. From a Cheltenham base, Velvet Jones travels statewide and holds public liability cover.
