Drum and bass, techno, R&B and dance pop all turn up in a DJOllieJ set, sometimes inside the same hour. He mixes tightly and keeps one eye on the floor, switching genres the moment the energy starts to dip, so the dancers don't drift off to the bar. That approach has carried him through club nights and festival slots, and he's played plenty of venues around his Sunshine Coast home.
