DJ Tux reads the room as the night goes rather than running a fixed playlist, so the music can move from relaxed lounge to throwbacks to club tracks as the crowd changes. He's a guitarist too, so one booking can also cover a ceremony or cocktail hour. The electric guitar option carries song melodies over pared-back piano backing tracks, while the acoustic one is fingerpicked. Each DJ booking includes a pair of column array speakers, lights for the dance floor and a cordless microphone. The portable column can also cover a separate space. Allow 60 to 90 minutes of access before guests arrive, a dry, level area about 3 by 3 metres, shelter outdoors, and two 10 amp power points within 10 metres. He won at the 2026 Tasmanian Wedding Industry Awards and has played events for Cricket Tasmania and the Hobart Chargers. Hobart-based and insured, he travels statewide.
