Leftfield disco and joyous house, with a few pop bangers thrown in when the moment's right: that's a DJ Smithers set. Offbeat queer parties are his natural habitat, and he likes teaming up with a crew of queens so the whole floor lets loose. His records have moved crowds in New York, San Francisco, Berlin and London, and around Sydney you'll find him at Poof Doof, The Bank and The Imperial. Newtown is home.
