DJ Shake

A drummer who sings is the heart of DJ Shake's solo show. He plays live drums and vocals over professional backing tracks, and one performer ends up filling the room like a whole band. The music leans on 90s grunge, alternative and classic rock, drawing on Pearl Jam, Karnivool, Hunters & Collectors, Grinspoon, Green Day, Birds of Tokyo, Crowded House, Tool, Eskimo Joe and Robbie Williams among others. It's built for Friday and Saturday nights, and for people who want to dance. The gear is Yamaha, EV and Shure. Allow a 2 by 2 metre area at minimum, one standard 240V power point and parking close by for loading. Outdoors, provide cover or shade. Based in Cornubia, he travels up to 100 km.
