Packages are sized by guest count. Up to 30, then 31 to 150, then anything above that, with bigger speakers and an LED light show as the numbers grow. Each runs four hours, with a Denon console and a microphone. The music spans the 1960s to today's charts and requests are encouraged, with karaoke and kids' discos also on offer. DJ Postie works out of Port Douglas and covers about 100 km. Allow around two hours to set up and one to pack down, with full power access. Outdoors, a covered area or marquee is needed, and one can be supplied at extra cost. Public liability insurance, a Blue Card, personal accident cover and PPCA registration are all held.
