Psy trance is where Jimmy D feels most at home, though his sets also move through techno, tech house, deep house, progressive and minimal. He can shape a long journey for a late crowd or keep it lighter earlier in the day, and he's been at it for 25 years. Back in the late 90s he held residencies at Sydney nightclubs. These days he plays at Elsewhere on the Gold Coast and holds a residency in Byron Bay. Overseas, he's played Boom Festival and Fusion Festival. For a dance party that wants a proper electronic set rather than a jukebox of hits, he's the kind of selector to talk to.
