Superclubs spread over seven levels, rooftop bars, boat parties: DJ Defyre has played the lot. The Scarborough DJ's home ground is hip hop, drum and bass and house, and he's shared stages with idols from those scenes. He's just as used to setting the mood at a poolside cocktail bar or a fine dining event as he is to pushing a festival or beach party crowd. Weddings and birthdays are part of the work too. That range means he can keep it low while people eat, then take it somewhere much louder later on.
