Dirty Rats is a rock band based in Melbourne, VIC.
Dirty Rats play old school Oz rock with a hard, raunchy edge, and they turn up with everything: full backline, PA and stage lighting. You just need power and enough floor for a four-piece. A night runs up to three 45-minute sets, mixing the band's own rock songs with classics from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Expect Evie, Highway to Hell, Tush, Jailbreak and Nutbush, along with Paranoid, Enter Sandman, Smoke on the Water and Fortunate Son. It's a guitars-up show, suited to a birthday bash or a party where the crowd wants a proper rock band rather than background music. Home is Melbourne, and they'll go up to 300 km for a gig.
