Dirty Lowdown is a cover band based in Adelaide, SA.
A winery afternoon with a band that knows its way around a groove: that's Dirty Lowdown's natural setting. The Adelaide trio is guitar, keys and drums, with vocals on top, and the three players have a lot of years on the road between them. They take familiar songs and give each one a slight twist, keeping it bluesy and funky with enough bounce to dance to. Expect the likes of Boz Scaggs, Toto, Van Morrison and Bill Withers, alongside Pink Floyd, Freddie King, Robben Ford, Paul Carrack, Sting and Steely Dan. Pubs are regular territory, and the odd private party too. The PA and lighting come with them, so your only job is clearing floor space for three. They travel up to 100 km.
