Dimi

Dimi takes familiar songs and strips them down, singing them over acoustic guitar with a raw, honest edge. Sets swing between soft ballads and louder, upbeat numbers, running from pop to bluesy rock through a folksy filter. Bring Me Some Water gets asked for a lot, as do Before He Cheats and Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and the set draws on INXS, Melissa Etheridge, Chris Stapleton, Noah Cyrus and Alannah Myles too. Dimi brings the guitar, amp, mic, stand and every lead needed. If the venue has a stool or some foldback speakers, that's appreciated, not required. Dimi can also MC as well as perform, and is open to residencies. Sydney-based, travelling up to 50 km.
