Descendance

Descendance bring three styles of Indigenous Australian performance to one show: Contemporary, plus traditional dance from both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. The company has toured more than 40 countries, taking these dances to major international events, and the show carries the didgeridoo as well as dance. For a conference opening, a civic ceremony or a festival that wants to begin with something rooted in this country, it's a considered choice. They're based in Sydney and travel nationwide.
