Deon Powter

Deon Powter is a four-piece from Brisbane, and the band knows more than 100 covers and will take requests on the night. Their own songs mix indie rock with blues and soul, and they're written around big themes like vulnerability, resilience and connection, on tracks such as Afraid of the Dark, Raft of Indecision, Adelaide and Time to Be Human. Live, they're dynamic and draw an audience in. Sounds of the City gave them a standout set, and South Brisbane's It's Still A Secret has had them on its stage.
