David Tipoki

Reggae rhythms carry David Tipoki's music, with the melodies of a singer-songwriter laid over the top. He's a Māori musician from Aotearoa New Zealand who writes his own songs, and he plays them on his Epiphone guitar through a Fender amp. It's warm, easy music with a lilt to it, well suited to an outdoor afternoon, a relaxed garden party or a bar where people want something original rather than the usual covers.
