Dave Gray

Each guest walks away from Dave Gray with a black and white caricature on A3 paper, slipped into a protective sleeve so it survives the trip home. The Perth artist has been drawing faces since his school days, and back in the 1980s, driving interstate coaches for Greyhound, he sketched his workmates and bosses along the way. For about 20 years he's drawn at corporate events, weddings, all sorts of social occasions and even funerals. The shortest booking is two hours, which gives him time to work through a good share of the room. He suits a wedding reception or a work function where guests are happy to queue for a laugh at their own expense.
