Dave Boots has been playing records in Melbourne for more than 20 years, and he used to go by LKR. He's a producer too, and he has played support slots both as a DJ and with his own projects, among them Symbiotic System, Carbon Quartet and Dengar. The acts he's opened for show how wide his taste runs: Hermitude, Blackalicious, Underground Lovers, Prefuse 73, The Herd, Gold Chains, Curse ov Dialect and Music vs Physics, along with Russ Dewbury, Paul Sadot and John Manship.
