Before the wedding or party, Dav sits down with you to build the playlist, picking from a large online music library so the night reflects your taste rather than a stock set. Add the MC service and Dav also handles the announcements and speeches, works with the venue supervisor, and keeps things on track if the night changes course. The gear is Pioneer decks and mixer, Serato on an Apple Mac, two 500W Mackie Thump speakers, sound-activated LED party lights and a cordless microphone, with backup equipment along too. A smoke machine is available if you'd like one. Weddings can run up to eight hours, set-up and pack-down included, while corporate events, private parties and school formals run up to five. Dav is a Perth DJ and also plays clubs, bars and restaurants.
