Darryl Apps and Ron Wiggins play as Catch Fraze, an Illawarra duo with two voices, two guitars and good backing tracks under them. It's a high-production sound for two people, and they keep the banter going between songs, so it works for a pub, a club or a party that runs for hours. The music is rock, pop, country rock and disco-era dance, drawing on the 50s through to the 90s, and there's a trio option too. Darryl also plays on his own, acoustic or over backing tracks, covering pop, rock and country. He's based in Wollongong, has played all over New South Wales and will travel further.
