Darren is a musical soloist based in Brisbane, QLD.
Everything Darren plays is live. The Brisbane soloist sings and accompanies himself without a drum machine or sequenced backing, which keeps the sound honest and lets him follow the room. The songs come from 50s and 60s pop and rock 'n' roll, plus the big hits of the 70s singer-songwriters. If your event needs something fuller, he can bring in backing tracks for a band-style sound. Having both options is handy at a wedding, since the early part of the night might want a single voice and the later part wants more push. He also plays venues, corporate events and private functions.
