Darren Lawrence

Darren Lawrence has sung to crowds of 25,000 and played quiet acoustic sets for small corporate groups, and he'll come alone, with one other player or with his full band. He's a strong singer and guitarist who performs both originals and covers. Much of his experience was built in the US. He has played the Whisky a Go Go, The Viper Room and The Roxy in Hollywood, CBGB in New York and the Sunset Strip Music Festival, and done acoustic sets at the offices of Billboard and Universal Music. Closer to home there's the Singapore Music Festival. Along the way he's opened for or shared the stage with Smashing Pumpkins, Kiss, Incubus, Baby Animals, Neon Trees and the Choirboys. He's based in Brisbane.
