Danny Shamess

Songs you already know, played with a percussive, fingerstyle twist: that's the sound Danny Shamess brings. He sings in a soothing voice over acoustic guitar, and the list covers all ages, from Ray Charles and Johnny Cash to The Police, Bob Marley, John Mayer and Eric Clapton. He grew up in Northern Ontario in Canada, calls the Gold Coast home now, and has played thousands of shows internationally over more than ten years, at festivals, jazz and blues clubs, lounges and auditoriums, plus plenty of weddings and private events. He has shared stages with Crystal Shawanda, David Wilcox, Finger Eleven and JJ Grey & Mofro. He supplies all his own sound gear for local shows and travels nationwide.
