Danica

Soulful, relaxed and a little jazzy, Danica's singing suits a wedding ceremony, sunset drinks by the water or an easy venue set. The acoustic sound owes something to Norah Jones and Amy Winehouse. More than twenty years of performing sit behind it, starting in restaurants, bars and casinos and later taking in officers' dinners and gala balls alongside the Australian Army Band. Danica has sung as a soloist at Carols by Candlelight and worked regularly in an acoustic duo, at venues and events from Darwin to Melbourne, and has lived overseas for a stretch too, in Indonesia, France and the US.
