Dallas Alice

Americana with a bit of cheek is the sound of Dallas Alice. The three-piece plays alt country out of Benalla, in the state's north-east, leaning into sassy folk and then slipping in contemporary pop songs, some of them played with a grin. Small towns are their patch, so a country hall dance suits them nicely, as does a backyard party where people want to tap along and have a laugh between songs. They turn up with everything they need: PA, bass amps, microphones and leads. Travel runs to about 200 km from home.
