Curt Luxton

Aussie pub rock, played acoustic, is the heart of a Curt Luxton gig. He's a familiar face in Queensland pubs, and it's his voice and blues guitar that carry the songs. The set leans on local favourites like Paul Kelly, Powderfinger, Hoodoo Gurus and Crowded House, then pulls in rock from the 70s to now: Tom Petty, The Police, Foo Fighters, Matchbox Twenty and Stereophonics. Put him in a beer garden or at a club function where the crowd knows these songs by heart. Curt is based on the Gold Coast.
